“The Future of Law Enforcement”

Law Enforcement Exploring is a Learning for Life program, which is affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America.

The department currently sponsors one Explorer post in Lake Havasu City. The post is supervised by Lake Havasu City Police Officers,ย some of whom were former Explorers.ย  These officersย mentor the Explorers and help them in preparing for a career in Law Enforcement by developing a fundamental understanding of police procedures, duties, and concepts.

The department’s Explorers are young adults, both male and female, ages 14-20.

This is a volunteer program that does require the Explorer’s commitment to bettering themselves through their studies and training.
